I was supposed to go to Arizona, but my host, Mr. Hamilton, took me to Peru instead! We had lots of adventures!
Here I am, camping in the Andes Mountains. It's really high up here and the air is thin. We had to carry all of our camping gear up here ourselves. Sometimes people use llamas to carry their stuff. Too bad we couldn't hire a llama.
It's really foggy up here. Actually, we are so high up in the mountains that this fog might really be a cloud. If you look close, you might see Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is an old city built during the Inca Empire. It is almost 600 years old! Inca people used to live here, but they all died out, probably from small pox.
Here is the beach in Peru. Look at the water! It's crystal blue. It's much clearer than the water in Lake Mead, here in Las Vegas.
Here I am on top of a cliff! I hope I don't fall down!
I'm in the town square at a city here in Peru. What a cool fountain! It's smaller than the Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas, though. I had a super time in Peru! I am so glad Mr. Hamilton came to Peru!
